Hope DeVall, LMBT #10846 is the owner of the Mind Body Connection, Center for Therapeutic Massage in Asheville, NC and CEO of the Western North Carolina School of Massage. She studied Communications at Gardner Webb University, and she has used her education as a tool for successful business development, marketing and public speaking. She first studied massage abroad in the Dominican Republic, where she lived and worked for 3 years. She returned to the US in 2008 and continued her education in massage therapy with a specilty in Clinical Neuromuscular Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Structural Bodywork. A seasoned massage professional, Hope has been a NCBTMB Approved Provider of Massage Therapy Continuing Education since 2010. She has developed curriculum for entry level massage education as well as ongoing training and development for licensed massage therapists nationally. She teaches 18 different continuing education courses in a broad variety of subjects relevant to massage and bodywork therapy. Hope is also a Yoga Instructor and Reiki Master, drawing from both of these, the practice of mindful awareness added to everything she does. Her compassionate nature coupled with dedication, knowledge, and experience makes her a powerful resource to help you along your educational path.
